February 19, 1972 – February 27, 2019
It is with profound sadness the Alford family announces the sudden passing of Adam on Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 in Oshawa, at the age of 47.
Beloved husband and soulmate of Jacqueline Maria Alford (nee Bergeron).
Loving and devoted father of Matthew, Savannah and Brayden.
Son the late Laurajean Crawford (nee Ibbitson) and Matthew William Alford.
He will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He will be fondly remembered by his best friend and sports brother Jeremy Vardy.
Adam was a dedicated fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Oshawa Generals.
He was an avid sports fan, who loved to dream of sports fields that he wanted to visit.
Adam had a love for conspiracy theories and welcomed debates. Adam was a dedicated child and youth worker for Frontenac Youth Services and loved making a difference in the lives of the youth.
Above all else, Adam put his love and focus into his family and enjoyed spending his free time travelling with his wife and children. Although Adam was not indigenous, he embraced the culture in support of his wife and children.
Visitation will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (1587 Highway #2, Courtice) 905-432-8484 on Saturday, March 9th, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m.
Donations towards the Alford family would be greatly appreciated and can be made on the day of service.
