March 1, 1931 - April 6, 2024

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the age of 93.

Beloved wife of the late Wilbert Simmonds.

Loving mother of Stanley Thomas, Gean V. Simmonds, Clarissa Simmonds-Gowie, Blaceta Simmonds-Irving, Velma Lyn Simmonds, Gerald Stafford Simmonds, Fitzroy Simmonds and Vidamin Simmonds.

Proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandmother of three great-great-grandchildren. Advira is predeceased by her parents Rebecca and John Keize and her siblings.

She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Revivaltime Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, 550 Kingston Road in Pickering, ON, with a service to follow at 12:00p.m.

She will be laid to rest at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY , 21 Garrard Road in Whitby ON, following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be much appreciated.
