Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 in his 91st year.

He leaves behind his daughters Debora King (Bruce), Donna Alldread and Alison Szwed (Ted).

Proud grandfather to Michelle, Mitchell, Melissa, Adam and Derek and a great-grandfather to Brooklyn.

Alan was fortunate to enjoy many years of retirement from GM Oshawa and spent over 30 years of winters in Florida.

The family would like to express our thanks to his favourite caregivers (you know who you are) at Glen Hill Terrace in Whitby.

A sincere thank you to the kind and compassionate care that was given to our dad from the Fourth-floor nursing staff and doctors at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Your support was so very much appreciated.

As per his wishes, a private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
