Elleni Andreadis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elleni Andreadis at the age of 81, on October 28, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 10, 1943, in Agia Paraskevi, Florina, Greece, Elleni later immigrated to Canada, where she built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and resilience.

Elleni was the cherished mother of her daughter Gina and son Gus (deceased), and an adoring grandmother to Alyssa. Her love for her family was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She is survived by her partner George, who brought her much joy in her later years.

Known for her vibrant spirit, Elleni filled any room with her radiant smile and quick wit. She was a talented cook, delighting family and friends with her homemade bread, lasagna, and Greek specialties. Her zest for life extended to travel, dancing, gardening, and enjoying time at the beach as a “snowbird” in Florida.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centres on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., where Elleni will be laid to rest alongside her beloved son Gus.
