September 14, 1941 - May 2, 2024

Passed peacefully on May 2 in his 83rd year, surrounded by friends and family at home, after a long battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Shelagh Joan (nee Shulz) and proud father of Brian John and Andrew Cristan.

Predeceased by his big sister Helen and youngest sister TJ.

Survived by his twin sisters Mae and Marie and baby brother Steve. Jokester uncle and granduncle to countless nieces and nephews.

An avid outdoorsman, Carl always had a fishing rod in the car in case he passed a good looking trout stream.

Carl proudly served in the Canadian Military as a member of the PPCLI in the 1960s.

A resident of Orono, Ontario for half a century, he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Cremation will take place immediately and a family memorial will take place at a later date.
