It is with deep sorrow that we announce the deaths of our beloved parents, Harry Richard (Bud) Babcock at Port Hope Extendicare Home on Wednesday April 24, 2024 and on Friday May 3, 2024 Carolyn Ruth Delores Babcock (Revell) passed away at Ed’s House Hospice in Cobourg.

Our faith assures us that they have been welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus their Saviour.

Bud Babcock was born on April 4,1937 in Marmora, ON, son of Gordon and Della Babcock

Ruth Babcock was born on April 16, 1937 to Wesley & Ruby Revell of Verona, ON.

Dad & Mom are lovingly remembered by their children Brent & Carol Babcock, Brenda Babcock-McEwen and Liane & Jeff Wright.

Bud and Ruth loved their families Bruce & Betty Babcock and Lorne & Joan Babcock, Gwen & Floyd Grant, Lynn & Debby Revell and deceased family Harry & Betty Revell and Glen & Elda Revell .

Grandpa and Grandma are lovingly remembered by Robin & Kevin Buhr, Julie & Chad Lebold, Melissa & Rimmy Spanjer, Jonathan & Victoria McEwen, Alyssa & Germell Grant, Meghan & Noah Zwicker.

Bud and Ruth were great-grandparents to Katelyn, Carson & Tyler Buhr, Avery, Jonah & Sienna Lebold, Killian & Lucas Spanjer, Kylia McEwen and Brianna, Avery, Andre & Marcus Grant.

They would have been excited to welcome baby Zwicker in September. Some fond memories include book readings by the hour and songs 'Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam' and 'You are my Sunshine' while being lovingly caressed across the forehead.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday May 17 at Calvary Baptist Church 301 Rossland Rd E, Oshawa followed by a joint Celebration of Life Service to begin at 1 pm. A Private Family Reception will be held following the service.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of Extendicare Port Hope and Ed’s House Hospice in Cobourg.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Ed’s House Hospice in Cobourg.
