Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, August 6, 2023, 98 years young.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Bernie Shaw and daughter of the late John and Esther Sammut.

Mother of Sandy Healey (Ted), John Shaw (Cathy) and the late Christine Touchie.

Cherished Grandmother of Eight and Great Grandmother of 13.

Predeceased by sister Marion Weeks, brothers Frankie and John Sammut and great grandson Micah Bedford.

Will be sadly missed by her special sister in laws Shirley Sciuk and Pauline Shaw along with her friends at the Wynfield Retirement Home in Oshawa.

Carrie lived a full and rich life full of travel, friends, family and plenty of shopping. While she slowed down physically over the last few years, she kept her mind, her wit and her sense of style. In her later years her favourite past time was watching her Toronto Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and her fabourite pro golfers.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
