Passed away peacefully at Port Perry Place on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 in his 91st year.

Dearly beloved husband of Freda.

Loving father of Bernadette (James), Kathy (Wade) and Susanne (Ralph).

Will be missed by his step-children Mike Crighton and Beverley Lawrence (Don).

Cherished grandfather of Aidan Millar.

Survived by his siblings Helmut Weigand and Kathi Hitzl.

Predeceased by his siblings Anton, Herbert, Peter, Florian, Thomas, Josef and Oscar Weigand, and Ria Oberhauser.

Will be remembered by his best friend Gord Albrecht.

Retired employee of General Motors.

Chris was a gentle man with a life long love of nature and animals. A long-time resident of Oshawa and Courtice, he enjoyed gardening, stamp collecting, fixing things in his workshop, and cottaging at Lake St. Peter.

He will be missed by family and friends in Canada and Austria.

A visitation will held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL , 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Friday November 26th, from 12:30 pm until time of service in the Chapel at 1:30 pm.
