December 8, 1937 - April 3, 2024

It is with a heavy heart that her family announces her passing on April 3, 2024.

At the age of eighty six, Clarice passed away peacefully with family by her side.

Born in Newport PEI on December 8th, 1937 she is predeceased by her loving husband Jack, her parents John “Jack” Steele and Clara Murphy, five sisters and six brothers.

She is survived by her cherished children Jaye (Domenic), Rick, Alannah (Richard), Jack (Lynn). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Patrick (Gabrielle), Alannah (Marcus), Jason (Tracy), Chelsea (Kir), Erica, Lisa, Michael and eight great grand children.

Clarice led a full, happy life and took her greatest joy from time spent with family and friends.

Special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff on 4E at the Ajax Pickering Hospital, the CCAC Whitby and affiliated home-care staff.

By request, there will be no visitation.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Leo’s Catholic Church 130 Watford Street, Brooklin, Ontario at 1:00pm April 9th 2024,

A private burial will be held in Montreal at a later date.
