Passed away peacefully with courage and grace on Friday, May 17, 2024 while at the Scarborough General Hospital.

Douglas, at the age of 79, was the beloved husband of Donna for 52 years.

Loving father of Patricia Ayotte, Cheryl Ayotte, Darlene (André) Bain and Phil (Joanne) Ayotte.

Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his siblings Donald Ayotte (Cathy), Robert Ayotte (Pip) and Lynda Fisher (the late Fred); and will be dearly missed by his extended family and many friends.

Visitation will take place at the MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME , 21 Garrard Road, Whitby on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. A Reception will follow in the Arbor Lounge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
