February 28, 1947 - March 19, 2024

Passed peacefully on Tuesday March 19th, 2024 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa surrounded by family, at the age of 77.

Predeceased by Mom (Olga) and Dad (Jim) and his only son James (Jamie).

Loved, missed and forever cherished by his wife Debbie of 43 years. Daughter Sarah (Darryl), Grandsons Cameron and Tyson, Brothers Robert Zellie and Bill Caskey.

Missed deeply by Heather and Gary Richter, Aunt Linda, Cousin Wally, and his 1st fave neighbour Velvet and dear Friend Eric.

Doug was a long time member for over 50 years of the Oshawa Navy Club where he spent a lot of his time. Retired from A.G. Simpson.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a celebration of life drop in for Doug at The Oshawa Navy Club (320 Viola Ave, Oshawa, ON L1H 3A8) on Saturday April 6th from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m.

If so desired, memorial donations in Doug’s name may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Organization or Durham Humane Society.
