Passed away with his daughters by his side on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 90th year.

Beloved husband of the late Marie.

Loving father of Darlene, Sherri and the late Donald.

Proud Papa of Melissa (Mike), Matt (Marlene), Derek (Miranda) and the late Dallas.

Adored Great Papa of Mack, Fox, Jacob, Travis, Brady, Dylan and Gavin.

Dear brother of Wayne (Karen), Carl (late Darylene), Marlene (late John), Doreen (Wayne) and the late Jack.

A special thank you to Edie, Rick and Janice for the love and support shown to Doug and family.

Private cremation has occurred. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787).

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
