BOBIK-ORCHARD, Dr. FRANCIS MD, FRCP(C) Dr. Francis Bobik-Orchard/Francis Thomas passed away at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in her 84th year. Loving wife of Lorne Thomas. Cherished mother of Laura and her husband, Jeff Osborne. Devoted grandmother of Michael Osborne, and Gregory Osborne and his fiancée, Erin Tabish. Dear aunt of Brian Reid, Elizabeth Figueiredo and her husband, Manny; and their children, Katie Cook, Nicole and Jesse Figueiredo. Predeceased by her sister, Ella Reid. Francis enjoyed many years practicing anesthesia at Women's College and the Orthopedic and Arthritic Hospitals in Toronto. A memorial visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, 166 Bruce Street North, Durham (Municipality of West Grey) on Thursday, July 25th from 2 - 4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Chapman House (cheques payable to Grey Bruce Hospice Inc.) would be appreciated by the family.
