Died peacefully, at the age of 85, with his family by his side on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Ajax Pickering Hospital.Son of Duncan and Helen Dempster of Brantford, Ontario.Predeceased by his loving wife Elli and his older sister Jean. He will be dearly missed by his three Angels, Lisa, Diane and Janet. Lovingly remembered by son Shawn, daughter Karina (Michael), son in law George, grandchildren Lisa, Jackie (Mike Zepp), Robert, Sandra and Steven.Adored by "little brother" Eric (Barbara), cousins Fran, Graeme, Sandy, Pat, Noragh, Sheilagh, Peter, Barb, Nancy, Duncan, nieces Anne and Jane (Paul), nephews Ross (Joan) and Bill, and all the grand-nieces and nephews who will miss snipe hunting with him.Graduated in Chemical Engineering at Queen's University. Long career at Dow, StanChem (Brenntag) and the chemical industries. Logie had a great love of reading, politics, and weather, loved his garden and the slots, and summers in Muskoka.
