In her younger years, Betty worked at RCA Victor & volunteered at the Neil McNeil Infant home, Toronto until she met Gord, the true love of her life.
They were married within a year of their courtship where Betty thrived, easily adapting from city girl to a farmer’s wife, taking on her role of wife & mother with zeal & enthusiasm, Betty finding that country living suited her personality traits & character almost perfectly.
Betty especially enjoyed her 2 children, 4 grandchildren & blissfully in her later years 9 great grandchildren.
On a weekly basis, Betty looked forward to Wednesday’s tea party with her dear friends.
This warm & engaging fellowship opened the door to studying scripture verses from God’s Holy Bible, finding comfort & strength reading Psalm 91 & enjoyed watching 100 Huntley Street and Betty re-committed her life to be a Christian whereby this week Betty has heard the words “Well done good & faithful servant, child welcome home”.
