July 11th, 1929 - May 24th, 2020Eric Gordon Small, age 90, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2020 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.Eric was born in Demerara, Guyana.Son of Eric and Stella Small.Husband of Genevieve Small.They were happily married for 68 years.The love of his life.Eric was a person we all strive to be. A gentle man with big hands and an exceptionally wonderful heart.Loved the Toronto Blue Jays and the Leafs.Always had his two drops of hot sauce, Matouks. Was a talented Rummy card player, which he loved to play with his wife, Genevieve.Eric is survived by his spouse, Genevieve, his son Danny, daughters Rosanne, Jennifer, and now reunited with his daughter Loretta in heaven. Eric leaves behind Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren that will miss him dearly.Eric and Genevieve welcomed their grandchildren into the home as their own.They will always remember him as a kind, gentle, patient man who acted as a father figure to them.Your soul will always live strong with us.
