April 17, 1932 - March 13, 2019The family of Erika Schmidt regretfully announce her passing peacefully on Wednesday, March 13 in her 87th year.Beloved wife of the late Anton (Tony) Schmidt.Dearly loved mother of Ingrid (Nick), Erika, Gerti (Ashley), Steven (Joan), Erich (Anne) and Sylvia. Cherished grandmother of Rick (Beatriz), Lisa (J.P.), David, Rebecca (Midian),Stephanie, Sarah, Rachel, Jessica and Laine and great grandmother to Ryan, Arthur, Kevin and Beatrice. Erika had a love of gardening and was accomplished in so many crafts. Cooking, knitting, quilting.....she would try most anything!And she would pass on her talents to anyone that had an interest.She held our family together and we now hold her in our hearts.Arrangements with McEachnie Funeral Home.
