1932 - 2022

Promoted to Glory on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 at Bowmanville Hospital in his 90th year.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Lousie, and sister Margaret, his brothers Jim, Edward and Roy.

Predeceased by his son Edward George Colliss (survived by Kimberly).

Left to mourn his passing are his wife Margaret of 59 years, and his Son Tom (Diane) and daughter Nancy Colliss; grandchildren Jennifer, Brianna, Kyle and Rachel; dear friend Isabelle Jones; all his nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 at The Bowmanville Salvation Army Community Church (75 Liberty Street South) from 12pm to 1:30pm, service to follow at 1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army Bowmanville Community Church and the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation. Ernest has entered his gates with Thanksgiving in his heart.
