After a full and active life, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 27, 2021 at the Village of Taunton Mills at the age of 92.

Beloved Husband of Violet for 63 years. Loving father of Gary (Betty-Jane), Edward (Sharon), Helen Tomkin (David) and Lora Medeiros (Paulo).

Proud grandfather “ja ja” of Phillip (Janet), Andrea (Dean), Amanda (John) Abby (Jeff) Lucas and Clayson.

Great grandpa and cherished ja ja to Dax, Elyse, Hannah, Emma, Tripp, Case and Ty.

Son of the late Anthony and Mildred Hanewich. Survived by his brother Benson; and many nieces and nephews, predeceased by brothers John and Peter, and his sister Olga (Gearing).

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Private Funeral Service will be held, by invite only, in the chapel at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, on Saturday May 1, 2021, followed by a private interment at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY .
