October 10th, 1941 - December 19th, 2020Passed away peacefully at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care in Newcastle on Saturday December 19th, 2020.Esther is survived by her loving husband of 57years, Germano. Loving mother of Angela Irvine (Dave), Mike Cucinato, Dave Cucinato, Patty Buxcey (Alfred).Adored grandmother of Brittney (Doug), Matthew, Alyssa, Ariana, Olivia & Abby.Great grandmother of Aubrey. Sister of John, Harold & Monica. Survived by her nieces & nephews.Esther Retired from the Durham District Separate School Board after more that 30years teaching full, part time and supply at Holy Cross & St. Therese Schools.She was a proud member of Holy Cross & St. Therese Parishes.Esther adored her family and was an avid “sports mom” enjoying her children’s hockey and ringette games.There will be a private family service at Resurrection Mausoleum.Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.For online condolences, please visit armstrongfh.ca .
