February 23rd, 1924 - October 24th, 2020Passed away peacefully at Thorntonview LTC, Oshawa, on the morning of Saturday October 24th, 2020 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband Leslie Power, (1997). Much loved mother of Leslie Power and his wife Victoria of Colchester, England, Myra Buttacavoli and her husband Louis of Austin, Texas, Helen Arnold and her husband Beverly of Tampa, Florida and Karen Haw and her husband David of Whitby, Ontario.Cherished and beloved Grandma, Great Grandma, and Great Great Grandma to 7 Grand Children, 9 Great Grand Children and 1 Great, Great Grand Child.Private family service will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.Evelyn will be laid to rest at Glendale Memorial Gardens Rexdale on Thursday, October 29th.In memory of Evelyn memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
