JARVIS, Faye (nee Melville) – Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday July 23rd, 2024. Mrs. Faye Jarvis of Simcoe in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Jarvis (2020). Loving mother of Rhonda. Dear sister of Jim Melville (Barb), Delores Winter (late Lloyd), late George Melville, late Bill Melville, late Doug Melville, late Joan Burke, late Vern Melville and late Mabel Assel. Faye will be sadly missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Faye was a member of the Vittoria Lioness Club, volunteered with the Vittoria Lions Club, past member of the Eastern Star. Faye loved going to the casino and watching sports on T.V. especially the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Friends are invited to visit on Monday July 29th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe (519-426-1314). Where service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Brian Elder officiating. Interment to follow at Vittoria Baptist Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made in Faye’s memory to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation, The Vittoria and District Foundation or the Vittoria Lions Club.
