It is with sadness we announce the passing of Fran, at the age of 93, on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Cama Woodlands LTC, Burlington.Beloved wife of the late Richard (1967).Loving mother of Karen Mortimer. Cherished grandmother of Esther Mortimer and her partner Harper Mackenzie, and great-grandmother of Lucas Mackenzie. She will be missed by her son-in-law Ralph Mortimer.Fran had a love of art and owned and operated an art gallery in Oshawa. Here she worked in framing, and also helped get many upcoming artists exposed.She was always a good sport, never saying no to an invitation.Private cremation has taken place, and Fran will be buried with her husband Richard at Glendale Cemetery, Etobicoke.If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
