(July 22, 1938 – August 29, 2016) -Born in Solihull, England, Colin immigrated to Canada at the age of 15.Colin was a longtime employee and retiree of General Motors Canada.He was predeceased by wife Karen Smith (Myers), eldest son David, brother Brian, and sister Julie.He is survived by his companion Marlene, his children Sandy, Judith, Gary and Brian, his grandchildren Jennifer, Michelle, Dustan, Ashley, Gavin, Stephen, Troy, Bruce, Jade, and Sabrina, as well as all of his great grandchildren.Colin will be lovingly remembered by his siblings in England; Carol, Sharon, Linda, Steve and Adrian.Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street East (905-721-1234) on Thursday, September 1st from 6 – 9 p.m. and Friday, September 2nd from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
