Surrounded by his family, Frederick Courtney passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Wynfield Long Term Care Home in Oshawa, Ontario.

Fred, at the age of 96, is predeceased by his beloved wife Rose and his daughter Valli.

He is survived by his children Bill (Eileen), Carlyn (Craig), Betty (the late Mac), Bruce, Shawn (Nicole), and Danelle. Proud Papa and Great-Papa to many. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his extended family.

Fred’s family would like to extend their thankfulness and gratitude to the staff of the Wynfield LTC for the outstanding care he received during his stay.

In keeping with Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 1:00p.m. until 3:00p.m. – with speeches to take place at 2:00p.m. at the Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitb
