It is with great sadness that we announce that Fred passed away peacefully on Monday January 23, 2017 at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital in Toronto surrounded by his family.Fred was a devoted husband of 60 years to Kay. He was a loving Dad to Delphine (Stewart) and Blaine (Debbie).Much loved Gramps to Brandon, Nolan and Melina.Fred will also be missed by many other relatives, friends, co-workers and neighbours.A long-time employee of Honeywell, retired in 1989 and devoted his retirement years to loving his wife and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a man who was passionate about his family. Nothing was more enjoyable to Fred than family get-togethers.Visitation will be held Thursday January 26, 2017 from to 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 27, 2017 at 11:00am at McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME in Ajax, Ontario. The service will be followed by the interment at Duffin Meadows Cemetery on Brock Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a CHARITY of your choice.We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Steven Fishman, Dr. Romas Stas and the Nurses and PSWs of 8 West.
