March 28, 1929 - November 29, 2016It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Fred who passed away peacefully with family at his side on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 in his 88th year.Beloved husband of the late Joyce Smith (nee Wood).Dear father of Gail and Terry (deceased). Grandpa to Lisa (Al), Karen (Gerry), Michelle (Jay), Patrick (Marie) and Amanda (Rob).Sadly missed by 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.Fred will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, family and friends.Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, December 1st from 1:00 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m.Memorial donations to the CHARITY of your choice would be appreciated.
