Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa surrounded by family.

Loving husband of Judy, Loving father of Sandra (Paul), Cathy (Tim) and Elaine (Mike).

Grandpa of Jacki, Christine, Tyler, Paige, Bryce, Colin, Jenni and pre-deceased by Daniel.

Great grandfather to Chloe and Carmen. Brother of Linda (Keith) and Brian (Laurel).

Garry had many life-long friends. Garry was a huge baseball fan, loved to travel and spend time with family. He loved the challenge of completing 100s of jigsaw puzzles.

His favourite places were Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Florida, Australia and Europe.

Garry had fond memories of Boys' Weekends in Detroit.

Garry retired after 38 years at General Motors Oshawa, Accounts Payable.

His family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Glen Hill Terrace and Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the care and support given.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27th from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28th at St. George's Memorial Anglican Church, 51 Centre Street South, Oshawa from 11:00a.m. until time of service in the sanctuary at 1:00p.m.
