Suddenly after a short battle with cancer at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday May 7th, 2024, in his 86th year.

Beloved husband of Laureen for 50 years.

Loving father of the late Mark.

Cherished brother of Coral “Buttons” Forkes (Steve) and predeceased by Alfred Craigie and Marion Scaife.

Devoted uncle of Terry Sovie, Christine Craigie-Kew and Donna Drover.

Gary will be missed by extended family and friends, especially his trucking buddy Ron Davis.

Gary was an avid Leafs and Blue Jays fan and enjoyed golfing with his brother-in-law Steve.
