GORNY, Waleria  -  Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Wednesday August 7, 2024 at Lakeridge Health Ajax.

Beloved wife of the late Boleslaw.

Loving Mother of Irena Dybala (Marian), Helen Kupnicki (the late George), Grace Szmyr (Jan) and Mario Gorny (Wendy Goodridge).

Proud Babcia of Barb MacCheyne (Richard), Paul Kupnicki (Amanda), Diane Rancier, Peter Dybala (Elizabeth), Jennifer Szmyr Ridi (Julian), Jeff Szmyr, Peter Gorny (Lin), Cheryl Gorny (Alex Brown), Spencer Adams & Brandon Adams.

Great Babcia of Brad, Brianna, Dylan, Rylan, Sidney, Monica, Nathan, Noah, Kayleigh, Jacob, Benjamin & Taylor.

Predeceased by her parents Konstanty & Franciszka, her brothers Kostek & Michal and sisters Helen & Diane all in Poland. Lovingly remembered by all of her family in Poland and her many friends.

Waleria was a proud employee of Sklar Pepler and retired after many years there as a sewer. She was extremely proud of all of her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Friends may call at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday August 15th from 6-9pm, Parish Prayers will be held at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Hedwig’s Polish Catholic Church, 411 Olive Avenue, Oshawa, on Friday August 16th at 10am. Interment to follow at
Thornton Cemetery.
