HENDERSON, Elizabeth Marie Henderson  -  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Marie Henderson on August 15th, 2024, at Sunnybrook Hospital at the young age of 73 years. Cherished mother of Teralynn (Marc) and JerryJohn (Jay).

Adored Nana to Joshua (Courtney), Jessica (Nick), Eric (Jaelyn), Bryan (Alicia) and great Nana to Lilian.

Dearly loved by her sisters Wendy (Gill), Beverly (Ed), Karen (Chris), Joanne (Allen) and Joyce (Joe).

Liz has been reunited with her late husband Paul Henderson, her parents the late Alfred and Mary Thompson, her brother the late Milton Thompson and her best friends the late Jerry and Donna Krastins. Liz was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her extended family, her friends, her dog Porsha and her cat Midnight and as a retired hairdresser her clients that she always called friends.

A Celebration of Elizabeth’s life will take place on Friday August 23, 2024, at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa 905-579-6787) with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. with inurnment to follow.
