Passed away peacefully in her 81st year with family by her side on Thursday, December 17, 2015.Loving wife to Bert and caring Mom to Kelli and Mark (Annalisa). Proud grammy to Brendan, Kyle, Tyler and Maxwell.Ilene will be fondly remembered by her brothers Ken and Merl and sisters Glenda and Lois. Predeceased by her brothers Lawrence and Gord, and mother Ida Starr.A very special thank you to Dr. Jennifer Wilson and the nurses at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital for their wonderful care.A private family burial will be held on Monday, December 21st. A Promotion to Glory Celebration will be held at Uxbridge Baptist Church, 231 Brock Street West on Tuesday, December 22nd at 2p.m. with visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Loaves and Fishes Food Bank in Uxbridge, or to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital.
