(May 22nd, 1928 – May 2nd, 2017)Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017 at the age of 88.Loving wife to Ivan for over 65 years.Cherished mother of Richard (Louise).Beloved daughter to the late Francis and Hephzibah Williams.Irene was an avid Chicago Cub’s fan.She also volunteered many years at Christ Memorial Anglican Church.Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, May 5th from 7 – 9 p.m. and at CHRIST MEMORIAL ANGLICAN CHURCH (81 Hillcroft Street, Oshawa) on Saturday, May 6th from 12:00 noon until time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m.Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to Christ Memorial Anglican Church.
