(December 28, 1933 - October 28, 2015)Irene “Nanny” Horner (Reid) passed peacefully in the presence of family on October 28th, 2015 in Oshawa in her 82nd year.Irene is survived by her husband, Roy Horner; children, Leigh (Terry), Susan, Jim (Julia), Dan, Debbie (Stephen), Sandra (Gary), Christina (Phil); siblings, Al, Ed, Sid, Ernie and Don; grandchildren, Vanessa (Tyler), Laura (Chris), Bob (Jennifer), Amy, Jacob, Briana (Pat), Elyse (Mike), Mallory, Abigail, Brittney (Mike), Melaney, Patrick (Susie), Caitlin (Jeff), Michael (Meg), Dale (Katie), Jim, Leanne, Nicholas, Hailey, Brooke, Mitchell, Beverlee, Beth and her great-grandchildren.Irene is preceded in death by siblings Ernie, Maudie, George, Winnie, Herb and Lew.Irene was born on December 28th, 1933 in Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland to Barbara and Ernest.
