Went peacefully into the arms of The Lord on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, in her 85th year.Predeceased by her parents, William and Birdie Patterson, brother Glen.Loving mother to Joyce (Peter), and Jackie (Geoffrey).Special grandmother to Jennifer (Danny), Cheryl (Bryan), Lindsay (Brandon), and Andrew (Tianna).Much loved GG to Mackenzie, Jackson, Caleb, Anderson, and Benjamin, longtime loving partner of John Smith.Isabel was born August 10, 1931, in Hanover, Ontario and resided in Downsview, Ontario for most of her years where her friends were abundant and her social life full.Nothing was more important to her than her loving family, her Faith and her music. Isabel was also contributing member of York Memorial Presbyterian Church for over 50 years before moving recently to be closer to her family.A huge, and special thank you, to the loving and caring staff, at Fairview Lodge, Heritage Harbour, for their unending care and compassion shown to Isabel, and to our family. Staff, all helped make her final stage in life's journey a special one.Visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Friday (February 19th) from 7-9 p.m.Then to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, (Cochrane Str. Whitby) where visitation will commence on Saturday (Feb. 20th) from 1:00 p.m. Until time of funeral service in the church at 2:00 p.m.Isabel will be laid to rest at a cemetery in Havover, ON.
