(Lifelong Member of LOL #2870 Oakwood, and Oakwood & District Lions Club, Retired 36 year Employee of General Motors)Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay in his 81st year.Ivan was the beloved husband of Pearl (née Hambley), for 57 years. Loving father of Keith Barry (Darlene Groves), Kevin Barry, and Michelle Marshall (Steve Johnston). Cherished Poppa of 8 grandchildren, predeceased by his grandson Jason, and 12 great grandchildren.Ivan is predeceased by his brother Clarence Barry (survived by Doreen). Ivan will be remembered always by his many nieces and nephews, their families, and his many friends.Visitation will be at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, Ontario on Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Brethren of the LOL #2870 Oakwood and visiting Brethren are asked to assemble at the Funeral Home on Monday Evening at 6:30 p.m., an Orange Lodge Service will take place at 6:45 p.m.Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 26th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Oakwood United Church, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
