April 17th, 1928 – May 4th, 2018(Long time employee of Newcastle PUC and Veridian)Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville in his 91st year after a heroic battle with cancer.Loving father of Glen (Julie), Dae (Bob), and Kelli. Much cherished grandpa “Boo” of Amanda, Justin, Ashleigh, Jacquelyn, Alex and Kara.Sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren and his best friend Mandy.At Ivan’s request, there will be no service or celebration of life.A special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Aubrey Kassirer and the palliative care nurses at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.In memory of Ivan, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
