Ivan Sanders passed peacefully into his eternal rest on Wednesday October 26, 2016 surrounded by the love of his family and friends.We give thanks to God and all of those who helped to fulfill Ivan's wish to be cared for at home.Ivan lived his life with great kindness, strength, courage, compassion, and dignity.He will always be in the heart of his beloved wife Hazel, son Ryan (Susanne), daughter Julie (Gilles), and his precious grandchildren James, Olivia, Émilie and Claire.He will be missed dearly by his extended family and friends.Public visitation to be held on Tuesday November 1 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax).Celebration of life to be held Wednesday November 2, 2016, at 1pm at Safe Haven Worship Center (12-1084 Salk Rd, Pickering)Reception for close family and friends to follow from 2:30 - 5pm at Safari Bar and Grill (60 Randall Dr, Ajax)In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sick Kids Foundation.
