Predeceased by his wife Thelma Brost. Dear father of Edward (Marlene), Bobby (Annette), David (Molly), and Nancy (the late Gary). Loving grandfather of Sam, Tameka, Jeff, Sheenagh, Matthew, Parker, Max, Steven, Kevin, Allison, and Joe. Sadly missed by numerous great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers Ray (Janet) and Mike (Susan), his sisters-in-law Anne (the late Dick), Nancy (the late Bob), and Norma (the late Eugene). He was predeceased by his sisters Ruth and Carol (the late Ray). He will also be remembered by his in-laws Aurele (Connie), Jimmy (Eileen), Bernadette (the late Billy) and Kathy (the late Ray). Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church, 1011 Oak Ave, Sarnia, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
