Kathy passed away peacefully at the Uxbridge Hospital on December 31st at the age of 94.
She was the cherished wife of Derek for 71 years and the loving mother to Martin (Jan), Trudy (Grant), and Colin.
She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Selby (Kyle), Zachary (Chelsea), Wren, Andrew (Kristin), Martin, and Jeff (Emily). She adored her great grandchildren Parker, Rylan, Leighton, Roan, Briar, Iris, and Maggie. Kathy and Derek emigrated to Canada in 1952 and raised their family in Scarborough, Ontario.
Kathy was a Mum to all the kids who came into our home. Her family and friends were always in her heart.
A special thank you to the wonderful doctors and nurses who cared for her at Uxbridge Hospital and Markham Stouffville hospital.
They went above and beyond to make her comfortable and guide our family. As a memory to Kathy, laugh a lot, plant some tulips, feed the birds, help all animals, play some games, love and spend time with your family, and enjoy every moment life has to offer.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring, information to follow at a later date. Funeral arrangements with Low & Low Funeral Home in Uxbridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Uxbridge Hospital Foundation.
