June 18 1966- December 1, 2023

On Friday December 1st, Kelly Gordon Giles passed away peacefully at home, nearly a year after his diagnosis with Cancer.

Best friend and husband to Cindy Giles, beloved father to Hailey Pollett (Jesse Pollett), and Brooke Giles (Joshua DeJager).

Kelly was the son of Karen and Gerry Giles., & loving brother to Tonia Giles.

He was a proud Grandfather to James Kelly Albert Pollett. From his earliest of days, he was an avid sports fan. His love for hockey, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs grew infectious throughout the family.

Kelly also enjoyed playing golf, fishing (all summer and winter), hunting and watching NASCAR every Sunday. Kelly worked for DuPont which later became Axalta for 28 years.

He was a dedicated and respected worker. Happily retired two years ago and enjoyed travelling to his favourite sunny south destinations. His quite, funny, & quirky demeanour will be missed by all.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 16th 2023, at Woodview Park. 151 Cadillac Avenue N, Oshawa. Visitation from 11:00am- 1:00pm. Service at 1:00pm with reception to follow.
