Born August 3, 1940, died peacefully at home on December 3, 2023.

Ken was the son of Murray Allan MacKenzie and Julia Kellington Boates.

He is survived by his devoted son, John (Milena); and by his loving daughter, Lisa (Cheryl).

Proud grandfather to Matthew (Michelle) and Kristen; and great-granddaughter, Amelia. Beloved sister, Wendy (Guy) Wainman. Ken's positive spirit endured until the end, as he faced his last days with grace and good humour.

He left this world a better place, leaving a legacy of love, friendship, and warm nature that touched the lives of so many.

Visitation will take place at the Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby, ON, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. until time of the Service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m.
