Passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2024 at Fosterbrooke at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of the late Ray Armitage.

Loving mother of Mary-Ann Maye (Terry), Karen Clugston (Rick), the late Jane MacDonald (Albert), the late Garnet (survived by Barbie LeBlanc) and the late Stephen.

Devoted grandma of Rob, Amy (Adam), Jim, Shawna (Steve), Raylee (Troy), and Randy (Breana). Cherished great-grandma to Marcus, Redford, and Austin.

Margaret will be sadly missed by her brother Earl Shaw (Joan) sister-in-law Betty-Lou Gilbank & brother-in-law Keith West, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Margaret will be fondly remembered as the backbone of her family, a great cook, an avid quilter, a social butterfly, and a very generous person who was always there to help anyone.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Fosterbrooke for their care and compassion over the years.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Newcastle Funeral Home on Tuesday May 21st from 7 - 9 for visitation. Service will take place Wednesday May 22nd at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home, visitation one hour prior.
