With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marvis Josephine Murray on December 10, 2023 in her home with her family by her side.

Wife to the late Josephus.

Loving and proud mother to Linsey, Kenroy (Tahsa Rodney), Madge and Emmanuel (Claire).

Adoring grandmother to Michael, Aaliyah, Amari, Erin, Danielle, Joshua, Gabriel. Great-grandmother to Anthony, Brooklyn and Jahlel.

Sister to Gleetha (Conrad), Joycelyn, Hillary, Agnes, Shirley, Maria. Brothers Ivan (Christine), Hector (Amy), and Winston. Aunt to Christopher, Ellen, Shaaira, Elis, Nisha, Christine, Brian, Andre, Raphael, Ricky, Glenda, Jennifer, Konyca, Rhonata, Kyzelle, Asha and Shereen, Arlene and Glen. Cousin to many. Marvis will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her family, friends and caregivers.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kington Road, Pickering Village, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, 1001 Ravenscroft Road, Ajax, on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with a burial at Christ the King Cemetery, Markham, to follow.

For those who wish, a donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in memory of Marvis would be appreciated by the family.
