It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Mary Isabella Younie (nee Bryson).
She passed peacefully in the presence of family in Lakeridge Health Hospital Ajax, at the blessed age of 94.
Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Roy Younie and her siblings.
Mary leaves behind their 3 children, daughter Barbara McNutt, her husband Brad, son John Younie, his wife Donalda and their youngest daughter Ann Younie. Also, left behind are their grandchildren Aaron McNutt (Jota), Jodi Clark (James), Chris McNutt (Brittany), Christine Wolchok (Ian), Elesia Maves (Jonathan) and Kimberly Younie.
As well as her great grandchildren Lillian McNutt, Logan McNutt, Howie Wolchok, Noah Clark and Moriah Maves.
She spent much of her career caring for others as a nurse at Barrie Memorial in Ormstown, Quebec and ended her impressionable career at the Whitby Jail.
Her time as an active member at St. Paul’s United church in Ajax, helping with blood pressure clinics and so much more will be remembered.
Mary loved many and was loved by many, from the friends in her Condo, to her friends from church, but especially by her family.
Mary left us with wisdom and memories we will never forget, her strength was enough for all of us. The family will grieve our great loss, but celebrate the wonderful person she was and taught us how to become.
