Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on January 15, 2024.

Beloved daughter of Cournel (pre-deceased) and Viola Merchand.

Mary Lou was the loving wife of Kirby for 40 years.

Cherished mother of Jennifer (Mike) Kubica, and Jeffery (Katherine) Warlich. Treasured grandma of Brinleigh, Colbie Jane, Miller, Blakely, and Scarlett. Sister of Jane (Ron) Brosseau, Helen (Glen) Pearse, Danny (Donna) Merchand.

She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton on Friday January 19th from 5-8 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1050 Portage Road, Kirkfield on Saturday, January 20th at 11am.

If so desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
