MCDOWELL, Lois Hilda  -  Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in her 102nd year.

Dearly beloved wife of the late William McDowell.

Loving mother of Patricia McDowell (Glenn), Susan Paradiso (Tony), and Mary McDowell (John).

Cherished grandmother of Christina (Rob) and Joanna (Dave), and great-grandmother of Callum, Jake, William and Christopher.

She was the loving daughter of Susan Elizabeth and Joseph Maxwell Huck and sister of the late Gordon Huck.

Lois will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends and watercolour and china painting friends. Lois dedicated her life to a career in Nursing and Nursing Administration.

She was proud to be a St. Michael's School of Nursing Graduate, Class of 1943 and Alumnae Member.

Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Benedict Church, 2194 Kipling Avenue, on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 11 a.m.
