Age 79 years.Passed away suddenly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday September 26th, 2016.Beloved husband of Mary (nee Postma) for 55 years.Much loved father of Teresa & Fred Rypstra, Paul Griffioen, Debbie & Steve Lebel and Brian Griffioen (Wendy).Loved grandpa to 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren.Survived by his brothers Simon & Jan and his sisters Jane, Joanne & Ida. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Remembered lovingly by the Postma family.Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville on Thursday September 29th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm.A Memorial Service will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 130 Scugog Street on Friday September 30th at 11:30 am.
