Norma passed away peacefully in hospital after an illness, surrounded by family, on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at the age of 78.Beloved wife of Jim H. Thorpe, who she shared 58 wonderful years with.Norma is survived by her son James SR, daughter Michelle Edmonds, daughter in law Ruth Yalden-Thorpe, son in law Chris Edmonds and Grand Daughters Mackayla, Kursten, Alice and Lucy.Norma will also be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.Cremation has taken place.A celebration of life will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Saturday June 23rd from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.To place online condolences, please visit armstrongfh.ca .
