It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a loving husband, father and grandfather, Omer Joseph Legacy on Thursday, January 1, 2015.Omer will be remembered and missed by many friends, both living and deceased, his siblings Martin Legacy of Wallaceburg, Evelyn Noel of Bathurst, NB, Gordon Legacy, of Bathurst, NB (deceased), Leona Thibideau of Bathurst, NB(deceased), Gerald Legacy of Oshawa (deceased), numerous nieces and nephews but especially by his wife, Rita, his children Kevin (Sandra) Legacy, Kelly (Ken) Lynch, and his grandchildren, Alissa and Hannah Legacy, and Alex, Steven and Jennifer Lynch.Dad was a hockey fan; a lover of food; the neighbourhood tool depot, the “Mr. Fix-It” of the family and was always ready with a joke or a story for anyone who wanted to listen.The neighbourhood will not be the same without the “King” sitting on his front step.Relatives and friends may call at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 9:30 am until time of service, in the chapel, at 11:30 am.Donations in memory of Omer to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation are welcomed.
